Mixolydia

Mixolydia was a Ruby on Rails web app for musicians. Users shared and remixed audio tracks with content from other talented members. Each musician involved received due credit. The web app also tracked a variety of contribution types. Writers, arrangers, producers and performers could all take part. All participants shared in the revenue based on the contribution structure.

Curbie Cars

Curbie Cars was on a mission to take the frustration out of buying and selling used vehicles. The Curbie team approached me to lead their technology strategy and web app development as a consulting project. This would be a collaboration with the founders and an external design firm.

Despite the trials and tribulations that come with a startup we were able to iterate quickly. We delivered an exceptional product on time and within budget. Curbie became Canada's first fully licensed online vehicle retailer. They were able to test-market their innovative business model. They have since gone on to raise money and start building their own software team.

My Training Logs is a Ruby on Rails web app for generating strength training programs. Users maximize their results by tracking their progress. The web app is responsive for use on mobile devices in the gym. The training programs can be printed for use with clipboards (sometime the old ways are still the best).
